Enterprise Technology Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with business and technology leaders to ensure that technology investments and solutions are in line with organizational objectives.

• Define and implement technology solutions in partnership with business leaders, project teams, technology teams, vendors, and industry partners.

• Convey architectural strategies, standards, decisions, and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders while facilitating consensus.

• Create and maintain reference architectures, design patterns, and architectural guidelines.

• Design, implement, and sustain enterprise security architectures.

• Develop and communicate enterprise architecture strategies, principles, standards, policies, best practices, and technology roadmaps.

• Foster innovation, minimize technical debt, and encourage continuous improvement.

• Establish and support architecture governance processes, technology reviews, and enterprise architecture boards.

• Assess emerging technologies, security controls, and architectural solutions, recommending strategies for adoption.

• Identify, evaluate, and mitigate architectural risks related to security, privacy, compliance, and operational resilience.

• Integrate security, resilience, and compliance principles into technology solutions.

• Lead proof-of-concept initiatives, technology assessments, and solution evaluations.

• Conduct high-level capacity planning and support business continuity and disaster recovery efforts.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business, Computer Engineering, or a related field is required.

• In the absence of a degree, five (5) years of relevant experience may be accepted.

• A minimum of three (3) years of experience in an IT architecture role is required.

• Experience in developing enterprise architecture frameworks, standards, principles, roadmaps, and reference architectures.

• Proven experience in designing and implementing enterprise technology solutions.

• Experience leading technology initiatives that involve multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

• Demonstrated experience in aligning technology strategies with business goals.

• Proficient in evaluating, selecting, and implementing technology solutions.

• Experience in documenting and diagramming architecture standards and designs, including security-related topics and solutions.

• Experience in collaborating on security solution requirements and evaluations.

• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into accessible business language.

• Capable of balancing business objectives, risk, cost, and technical requirements.

• Relevant certifications such as PMP, TOGAF, CISSP, or HITRUST are preferred.

• Familiarity with enterprise security architecture, cybersecurity frameworks, ITIL, business continuity and disaster recovery, Agile methodologies, application lifecycle management, healthcare, automation platforms, cloud technologies, APIs, containerization, microservices, service-oriented architectures, and enterprise-scale security tools is preferred.

• CISSP and PMP certifications are mentioned in the certifications section.
