This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +2 more states.
• Provides support to Enterprise Privacy & Security Risk Management (EPSRM) and various teams within Centene by converting intricate regulatory, legislative, and contractual requirements into actionable, risk-informed analyses.
• Functions as a vital execution layer within the Privacy & Security Enterprise Engagement model, collaborating as part of a team of Lead Analysts.
• Reviews and interprets contracts, laws, regulations, and industry frameworks to ascertain Centene's obligations concerning privacy, security, artificial intelligence (AI) governance, and operational resilience.
• Utilizes extensive subject matter expertise to influence cross-functional stakeholders.
• Analyzes and interprets federal and state laws, regulations, and contractual obligations.
• Converts regulatory and contractual requirements into structured, enforceable obligations that align with enterprise frameworks.
• Conducts impact assessments and assists with regulatory change management.
• Serves as a key support partner to Executive Engagement Officers (EEOs) and enterprise stakeholders.
• Bachelor's Degree in Information Security, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Public Policy, Legal/Paralegal Studies, or a related field; or equivalent experience is required.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in Privacy, security, compliance, risk management, or a related field is required.
• At least 5 years of experience in analyzing regulatory, legislative, or contractual requirements is required.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in healthcare, government programs (Medicare, Medicaid, Marketplace), or similarly highly regulated industries is required.
• Proven experience in creating executive-ready communications and advisory materials, influencing business and technical stakeholders without direct authority, and supporting risk-informed decision-making.
• Experience with healthcare regulatory frameworks (e.g., CMS, HIPAA, state Medicaid/Exchange requirements, NCQA) is preferred.
• Licenses/Certifications: CISSP, CISM, CRISC, or a similar information security or risk certification is preferred.
