This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.
• Develop and uphold the enterprise data architecture framework, encompassing data models, standards, and governance structures.
• Ensure the alignment of data architecture with business objectives through close collaboration with both business and IT stakeholders.
• Design and manage scalable data solutions across transactional, analytical, and streaming environments.
• Create standardized data integration and interoperability patterns across various platforms.
• Spearhead initiatives for modernizing data platforms, including the adoption and migration to cloud solutions.
• Establish and enforce frameworks for data governance, data quality, metadata management, and Master Data Management (MDM).
• Offer architectural guidance, conduct reviews, and provide mentoring to architects, data engineers, and delivery teams.
• Collaborate with Security and Compliance teams to guarantee data privacy and adherence to regulatory standards.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience in Enterprise Data Architecture or comparable positions.
• In-depth knowledge of data modeling, metadata management, and data lifecycle management.
• Practical experience with cloud-based data platforms (AWS preferred; Azure, Snowflake, Databricks are also acceptable).
• Extensive experience with SQL and NoSQL data systems.
• Experience with data governance and catalog tools (e.g., Collibra, Informatica, Alation).
• Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman).
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and analytical abilities.
