This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Are you eager to elevate your career and collaborate with skilled, talented colleagues to tackle and deliver on our clients' most significant challenges? We are expanding and seeking individuals to join our team.
• You will be part of a dynamic, high-growth environment comprising 300,000 employees.
• Our vibrant organization enables you to work across various business functions, contributing your ideas, experiences, unique perspectives, and a robust mindset.
• The rise of Enterprise AI is prompting organizations to reevaluate their data ecosystems.
• Data platforms primarily designed for reporting often fall short for GenAI, semantic search, agentic workflows, and AI-driven decision-making.
• Clients now require data that is reliable, governed, contextualized, and accessible to both individuals and intelligent systems.
• We are in search of client-facing Enterprise Data Architects to join our expanding Enterprise AI practice.
• You will assist clients in transforming fragmented data ecosystems into AI-ready foundations, providing guidance on architecture decisions for cloud data platforms, lakehouse and warehouse patterns, data products, semantic layers, metadata, lineage, governance, knowledge graphs, and GenAI retrieval patterns.
• This is a consulting position, not solely an internal architecture role.
• You will diagnose ambiguous client issues, shape options, clarify trade-offs, and translate complex data architecture challenges into clear decisions for both technical teams and executive stakeholders.
• You will collaborate in cross-functional teams with product owners, data scientists, ML and GenAI engineers, data engineers, business analysts, and client stakeholders.
• Typical deliverables may include target-state architectures, maturity assessments, platform option evaluations, data product designs, governance models, lineage maps, ontology and semantic models, integration patterns, GenAI data-readiness assessments, and implementation roadmaps.
• We are hiring for various levels.
• For entry-level positions, we expect strong architecture delivery experience and practical platform knowledge.
• For senior positions, we anticipate the capability to shape enterprise data strategy, influence senior stakeholders, lead complex architecture decisions, and guide multidisciplinary delivery teams.
• We do not expect every candidate to be a specialist in every facet of AI-ready data architecture.
• We seek architects with solid core data architecture experience and credible expertise in some of the critical areas relevant to AI-enabled data ecosystems, such as governance, semantic modeling, lakehouse architecture, data products, metadata management, knowledge graphs, RAG, or enterprise data strategy.
• 5–10+ years of experience, depending on the level, in data architecture, enterprise architecture, solution architecture, or senior data engineering roles.
• Proven experience in designing modern data architectures for analytics, AI, ML, or GenAI consumption.
• Strong understanding of enterprise data architecture patterns, including cloud data platforms, lakehouses, warehouses, data integration, data modeling, and metadata management.
• Experience in contributing to or leading data governance initiatives, including catalogs, lineage, ownership, stewardship, data quality, and metadata management.
• Practical knowledge of semantic layers, ontologies, or knowledge graph concepts, with hands-on experience in at least one of these areas.
• Extensive experience with at least one major cloud data platform, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, and familiarity with leading lakehouse or warehouse technologies.
• Understanding of how data architecture decisions impact AI and GenAI outcomes, including data quality, provenance, context, retrieval, security, privacy, and semantic consistency.
• Familiarity with GenAI data patterns such as retrieval-augmented generation, vector search, embedding pipelines, chunking strategies, or enterprise search.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to clearly present complex technical trade-offs to non-technical sponsors and senior executives.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; quantitative, technical, or analytical disciplines are an advantage.
• Willingness to travel, up to approximately 60% depending on project requirements, across the UK and internationally.
