Enterprise Data & Analytics Analyst – Platform Engineering

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Hawaii.

📋 Description

• Oversee the operational management and quality assurance of the Enterprise Data & Analytics Platform (EDAP) along with its associated technology toolchain.

• This role encompasses both the implementation of new technologies and capabilities, as well as the transition of legacy systems for data and analytics, in alignment with the FHB Enterprise Data & Analytics strategy and roadmap.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, data science, mathematics, or quantitative analysis is mandatory.

• Completion of the Snowflake Foundation Course is required.

• The AWS Cloud Foundation Course must be completed.

• Must possess SAP Certified Application Associate - SAP BusinessObjects Web Intelligence 4.2 certification.

• Tableau Desktop Specialist or an equivalent certification is needed.

• ThoughtSpot Professional or an equivalent certification is required. ***Certifications not already acquired must be obtained within one year of employment.

• A minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience is preferred, ideally in business intelligence, platform administration/reporting, or data engineering roles with progressive responsibilities and data & analytics tool proficiencies.

• *Required experience may be gained concurrently. One year of relevant data platform experience can be substituted with advanced education credentials in the specified fields above.

• Proficient understanding of database constructs, report writing/visualization, and spreadsheet applications is essential. **Strong verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills are necessary to engage with all levels of management and influence internal and external stakeholders effectively.

• Capability to deliver presentations effectively to large groups when required. **Self-motivated and well-organized to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while working independently under general supervision.

• Ability to manage multiple competing deadlines while maintaining a professional demeanor.

• Proficient in applying critical thinking skills to address complex problems and propose logical solutions.

• Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy are crucial.

• Ability to build trust and handle confidential matters with care.

• An effective collaborator with the capacity to exercise judgment and discretion, making decisions when necessary.
