Enterprise Architect – Public Sector/K12

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Develops and provides guidance on enterprise architecture models

• Ensures alignment of technology initiatives with business goals and experiences

• Offers insights on technology trends and innovations

• Validates solution discovery requirements and aligns them with customer outcomes and experiences

• Showcases C1’s comprehensive portfolio and the C1 (ConvergeOne) “Human Experience” narrative

• Works closely with key customers, fostering essential technical relationships

• Collaborates with Account Executives, creating synergistic partnerships that guarantee a cohesive approach to customer requirements, from solution development to account management

• Leads technical teams, including Design Engineers, Solution Architects, Chief Advisors, Delivery Engineers, Project Managers, and Managed Services engineers

• Oversees and takes responsibility for the entire sales cycle, managing deals from discovery to project execution and ensuring adoption in collaboration with Services, PM, and Lifecycle teams

• Acts as the primary orchestrator for significant deals, ensuring seamless integration of all elements from initial customer requirements to final implementation plans

• Engages directly with key customers, both virtually and preferably in-person, to cultivate relationships, lead projects (pre-Sales, Post-sales, and Managed Services), and ensure C1's success

• Maintains continuous engagement with customers utilizing managed services, ensuring their evolving needs are consistently addressed and that our solutions align with their long-term goals

• Remains connected to assigned customers, including periods between projects

• Extensive experience with enterprise-level projects

• Strong strategic thinking and leadership capabilities

• Ability to understand and relate to customers’ needs with insight and empathy

• Capacity to act as a trusted advisor and foster long-lasting, trustworthy relationships with customers

• Demonstrates thorough technical proficiency across various domains and service models (pre-sales, Delivery, and Managed)

• Deep knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks, cloud computing, collaboration, and infrastructure design

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, delivering accurate solution architecture for clients

• Proficient communication skills with all levels, including executives, bridging the gap between business users and IT

• Exceptional written and verbal communication, along with presentation skills to explain complex technical information understandably to non-technical stakeholders; excellent relationship and collaboration skills

• Competence in negotiating with vendors, team members, and stakeholders to achieve optimal results

• Ability to adapt to new challenges and technologies while keeping up with industry trends

• Skill in prioritizing tasks and projects to meet deadlines without sacrificing quality

• Expertise in identifying and evaluating technical risks and developing mitigation strategies

• Ability to mentor, guide, and manage technical teams, ensuring efficient project execution

• Relevant certifications or equivalent experience in the area of focus

• Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and SharePoint
