This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.
• Assist with Enterprise Architecture initiatives throughout M&A integration projects.
• Evaluate the current application and technology environments.
• Establish target-state architectures and integration strategies.
• Create documentation for application portfolios, technology inventories, and architecture artifacts.
• Conduct application rationalization and pinpoint consolidation opportunities.
• Align business capabilities with the applications that support them.
• Lead architecture workshops involving business and IT stakeholders.
• Provide support for Day 1, TSA Exit, and long-term integration strategies.
• Work closely with business, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and data teams.
• Review solution designs to ensure compliance with Enterprise Architecture standards.
• Identify integration risks, technical debt, and interdependencies.
• Maintain architecture repositories and governance documentation.
• Generate executive-ready architecture assessments and recommendations.
• Aid in the successful execution of integration initiatives alongside project teams and partners.
• 2–5 years of experience in Enterprise Architecture, or 5–10 years in Solution/Application Architecture with significant Enterprise Architecture exposure.
• Practical experience in supporting Merger & Acquisition (M&A) integration programs.
• Prior experience in M&A integration is essential.
• Knowledge of Enterprise Architecture and Integration Architecture.
• Experience in assessing enterprise application landscapes.
• Proficiency in application portfolio management.
• Skills in business capability mapping.
• Familiarity with application rationalization.
• Ability to define integration strategies and roadmaps.
• Capability to produce executive-level architecture documentation.
• Experience in stakeholder management and workshop facilitation.
• Preferred: experience supporting multiple acquisitions or divestitures.
• Preferred: exposure to TOGAF or other Enterprise Architecture frameworks.
• Preferred: experience with Enterprise Architecture tools such as Ardoq, LeanIX, Bizzdesign, erwin, or Evolve (or similar).
• Preferred: experience within manufacturing, engineering, or industrial sectors.
• Preferred: familiarity with Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
• Willingness to travel within the UK and Europe for architecture workshops, generally up to 3 days.
• Flexibility to occasionally participate in meetings with North American or APAC stakeholders.
