English/Vietnamese Interpreter

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Deliver Vietnamese interpreting services via telephone.

• Help individuals overcome communication barriers.

• Ensure precise and professional interpretation throughout calls.

• Provide a dependable, impartial, and compassionate experience.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in both English and Vietnamese.

• Commitment to offering courteous, precise, and professional interpretation services.

• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.

• Previous experience as an Over-the-Phone Interpreter (OPI) is advantageous, but not essential!

• English Proficiency Test: Must achieve a “technical proficiency” rating (level 3 or higher on the ILR scale).

• Mock Interpretation Session: Must successfully complete a live evaluation.

• Medical Terminology Assessment: Must pass an online examination covering medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
