English Teacher – Part-Time

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct engaging and interactive online classes at Slang across a variety of subjects, utilizing the content provided by the instructional design team.

• Keep precise and current user progress tracking documents to ensure a thorough and organized learning experience.

• Deliver prompt and constructive feedback to students regarding their progress, assignments, and participation in class, fostering their educational development.

• Create a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages active involvement and student engagement, building on the provided class content.

• Participate in training sessions to refine teaching methods, receive support on class material, and ensure effective implementation of instructional strategies in online settings.

• Communicate proficiently with students, addressing their inquiries and concerns while offering guidance and utilizing the provided class content to aid their learning.

• Uphold professionalism and confidentiality in all interactions with students, colleagues, and the instructional design team concerning the provided class content.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Modern Languages or related fields, along with TESOL, TEFL, or similar certifications. (Candidates nearing graduation are encouraged to apply, as the degree requirement can be flexible.)

• Strong proficiency in grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation, with the ability to adapt to various learner demographics.

• Experience in teaching English.

• Basic skills in conducting speaking assessments to evaluate oral communication abilities, covering fluency, pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar, and coherence.

• Capability to offer personalized feedback tailored to the individual needs and proficiency levels of students.

• Familiarity with technology and digital tools for instruction, including virtual teaching platforms, learning management systems, and digital resources (Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, G Suite).
