This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Conduct annual preventive maintenance tasks within a designated geographic area.
• Execute hands-on repair and maintenance duties on commercial property systems, encompassing HVAC, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, building automation, card access, doors and gates, building envelope, grounds, parking lots, interior finishes, and lighting.
• Carry out preventive maintenance and repair services on HVAC, water chillers, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and various other building systems.
• Recognize energy-saving opportunities through adjustments in facility systems and operational practices.
• Perform routine building maintenance, plumbing, and additional tasks as required.
• Independently organize work assignments and execute responsibilities with minimal direct supervision.
• Assist in other trades and contribute to the general maintenance and operation of buildings and grounds.
• Travel by truck to multiple locations within the specified area.
• Engage daily with teams in person, via phone, and through email.
• At least 5 years of experience in commercial HVAC service and repairs or 5 years of military experience involving HVAC systems.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Universal CFC certification is mandatory.
• Proficiency in hands-on repair and maintenance of commercial HVAC systems, including pumps, motors, air handlers, automation/controls systems, and relevant electrical systems.
• Capability to utilize industry-standard tools while adhering to applicable codes, laws, and regulations.
• Proficient in using computers and software applications, including the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Skilled in navigating the internet and utilizing web-based applications.
• Competent in using handheld electronic devices such as PDAs, Blackberries, and mobile phones.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
• Aptitude for managing relationships with team members, contractors, building occupants, and clients.
• Understanding of English language structure, spelling, composition, and grammar.
• Self-motivated individual with strong interpersonal skills and a positive attitude.
• Must have authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Capability to meet physical demands, including lifting up to 100 pounds and working outdoors, in mechanical/equipment rooms, and in extreme weather conditions.
