đź“‹ Description

• Provide technical leadership and architectural expertise across key components of the V2 Platform.

• Lead and participate in the design and implementation of scalable, secure features that foster Nabis’ growth.

• Uphold high engineering standards in code quality, testing, documentation, and system reliability.

• Ensure the team is unified on technical decisions, trade-offs, and long-term platform strategies.

• Mentor and support a team of software engineers through consistent coaching, feedback, and development planning.

• Facilitate effective sprint planning, goal setting, and delivery execution.

• Conduct code reviews that prioritize education, maintainability, and adherence to best practices.

• Assist engineers in deconstructing complex technical challenges and navigating uncertainty.

• Oversee the complete execution of projects—from requirements gathering to release and post-launch support.

• Collaborate closely with Product teams to scope work, establish priorities, and ensure roadmap alignment.

• Enhance processes that boost engineering velocity, quality, and team communication.

• Ensure operational excellence across services, including monitoring, incident response, and long-term resilience planning.

• Serve as a crucial engineering partner to Product, Design, Operations, and external stakeholders.

• Translate business requirements into technical strategies and clearly communicate trade-offs.

• Represent engineering in stakeholder meetings, roadmap discussions, and customer-facing conversations that require technical insights.


⛳️ Requirements

• B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• Over 8 years of experience in building applications using React, Node.js, NestJS, REST, and PostgreSQL.

• At least 2 years of experience with Kafka or similar data streaming technologies.

• Proficiency in service-based/microservice architectures utilizing Docker and Kubernetes; experience with AWS is preferred.

• Proven experience leading engineers—formally or informally—through mentorship, project direction, or team oversight.

• Strong technical judgment, a high-ownership mentality, and the ability to guide teams through complex problem-solving.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional partners.
