This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Develop, implement, and maintain data ingestion, transformation, and availability pipelines;
• Construct and enhance integration processes between various internal and external data sources;
• Create and sustain conceptual, logical, and physical data models, ensuring an appropriate structure for data storage and consumption;
• Conduct data treatment, consolidation, and enrichment to support the analytical and operational needs of the business;
• Ensure the quality, integrity, availability, and traceability of data through controls, validations, and continuous monitoring;
• Integrate data from databases, APIs, corporate systems, cloud platforms, and other information sources;
• Make data available for consumption by business areas, Analytics, Business Intelligence, Data Science, and Artificial Intelligence;
• Support data governance initiatives, information standardization, and the evolution of corporate data architecture;
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes, tools, methodologies, and data engineering solutions;
• Participate in the assessment and implementation of new technologies related to data management, processing, and storage;
• Gather, understand, and translate business needs into data solutions;
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, contributing to knowledge sharing and the advancement of area practices;
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Statistics, Computational Mathematics, or related fields.
• Strong experience in relational, hierarchical, and analytical data modeling.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python for developing data solutions.
• Experience in building, optimizing, and sustaining scalable data pipelines.
• Experience in integrating multiple data sources through APIs, corporate systems, and Cloud platforms.
• Experience with relational databases, including DML, DDL, and Stored Procedures.
• Knowledge of data governance, quality, monitoring, and observability.
• Ability to assess, recommend, and implement technical solutions for complex scenarios.
• Experience with data architecture and solution design in corporate environments.
• Ability to work autonomously in low-definition scenarios, supporting technical decisions and the evolution of data engineering practices.
• **Desirable:**
• Knowledge of PL/SQL (Oracle) and/or PG/SQL (PostgreSQL).
• Experience in modeling and optimizing analytical data in non-relational databases.
• Experience with Cloud platforms (AWS, OCI).
• Experience with geospatial data, including modeling, processing, and spatial analysis.
• Experience with sensor data and IoT.
• Knowledge of Apache Spark and/or Apache Flink.
• Familiarity with data preparation for Machine Learning.
• Knowledge of automated testing and data quality.
• Experience serving as a technical reference or mentor for data teams.
• Knowledge of modern data architectures (Data Lake, Data Warehouse, and Lakehouse).
• Experience with orchestration tools and distributed data processing.
