This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Manage, optimize, and ensure the availability of databases in AWS, engaging in advanced troubleshooting, tuning, backup, replication, monitoring, and automation.
• Support architectural definitions, performance, and operational continuity.
• Senior Cloud Database Engineer with experience in critical environments, high availability, and cloud database administration.
• Proficiency in AWS RDS, Aurora, PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, monitoring, automation with Terraform and Shell/Python, performance tuning, HA, disaster recovery, and cloud security.
• Analytical profile, autonomy, clear communication, and consultative capability.
• Desirable skills: MongoDB, DynamoDB, FinOps, and observability.
