Engagement Manager, Data Modernization

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the modernization engagement lifecycle, including scoping, SOW alignment, kickoff, milestone tracking, status reporting, and handoff.

• Act as the primary liaison for partner stakeholders throughout engagements.

• Facilitate coordination among engineering, data mapping, cloud/infrastructure, and client integration teams.

• Oversee engagement timelines, risks, and dependencies across 2-3 simultaneous projects.

• Conduct weekly status meetings with partner teams.

• Ensure a smooth transition to the Client Integration team after modernization.

• Develop and enhance the engagement playbook to ensure repeatability and scalability.

• Monitor capacity across multiple engagements and proactively identify resource conflicts.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

• 4-7 years of experience in technical project/program management, professional services delivery, or technical consulting.

• Proven experience in managing data platform, cloud infrastructure, or data integration projects.

• Adequate technical knowledge to engage in discussions about Azure, Databricks, data pipelines, and networking.

• Excellent communication skills, with a focus on clear status reporting, expectation management, and risk escalation.

• Willingness to travel for engagement kickoffs, key milestones, and on-site working sessions 20-30% of the time.
