This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Idaho, +1 more state.
β’ Oversee the erection and construction, pre-commissioning, and commissioning of a water treatment facility located near Odessa, Texas.
β’ Act as a liaison between design engineering and construction teams during the erection of the plant.
β’ Provide technical guidance and support to customer representatives regarding installation, operation, calibration, repair, and maintenance.
β’ Manage external vendors and suppliers to ensure adherence to project specifications and performance standards.
β’ Create Standard Operating Procedures and log sheets for equipment storage, installation, and initial operations.
β’ Formulate and implement plans for installation, assembly, and storage.
β’ Conduct quality inspections of electromechanical and rotating equipment alongside clients and representatives.
β’ Uphold safety standards during all executed tasks.
β’ Compile technical reports for customer documentation and future reference during outages.
β’ Address alignment issues and calculate plumb adjustments utilizing plane geometry and chemistry formulas.
β’ Lead or assist customers with electrical and instrumentation needs in support of commissioning, startup spares, and operational and maintenance practices.
β’ Engage in Customer Factory Acceptance Tests and Control Systems evaluations.
β’ Execute on-site programming for water treatment control systems and aid in electrical installation and troubleshooting.
β’ Collaborate with Automation and E&I Leaders to enhance project execution and continuous improvement.
β’ A College Diploma with at least 5 years of experience in the Water Treatment sector, or 10 years of experience in Construction and/or Commissioning.
β’ A strong focus on customer relationships.
β’ Knowledge of or a capacity to learn about water treatment equipment and startup processes, including Reverse Osmosis, Clarifiers, Thickeners, and Pressure Filters.
β’ Ability to work independently and remotely with project teams.
β’ Basic understanding of water treatment chemistry.
β’ Hands-on electrical experience, including the ability to read and interpret drawings, electrical panels, junction boxes, cabling, and grounding techniques.
β’ Familiarity with the setup, installation, configuration, calibration, and/or maintenance of instrumentation utilized in water treatment processes.
β’ Excellent oral and written communication skills.
β’ A valid driver's license.
β’ Site assignments may occur in foreign countries and may require working in remote camps.
β’ Ability to meet physical demands, including occasional lifting or moving loads up to 25 pounds.
β’ A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field from an accredited university or college is preferred.
β’ Experience in the Oil and Gas industry is advantageous.
β’ Training in Lock-Out/Tag-Out procedures is preferred.
