Editor-in-Chief, SEO, AEO Content

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Take charge of Jerry's editorial operations across jerry.ai and other external platforms.

• Create and manage the workflow that includes brief creation, AI drafting, human editing, quality assurance, and publishing.

• Develop pages and clusters that achieve high rankings on Google.

• Establish and uphold Jerry's voice and style guide for writers, freelancers, and AI-generated content.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in content and editorial positions.

• At least 3 years of experience leading a content program focused on SEO.

• Proven track record of delivering measurable organic growth results.

• Proficient understanding of large language models (LLMs).

• Familiarity with Google Search Console (GSC), Semrush or Ahrefs, and Google Analytics 4 (GA4).

• Experience in managing at least one writer and/or a team of freelancers.

• A portfolio showcasing your voice, editorial judgment, and attention to detail.
