EDI Specialist – Field

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina.

📋 Description

• Act as a bridge between the sales team and the IT Department.

• Assist the sales team in securing new business opportunities.

• Engage at the beginning of the sales process.

• Provide support for the existing customer base.

• Travel to client locations, with mileage reimbursed.

• Conduct training sessions for specific EMR applications.

• Facilitate integration, implementation, and functionality of interface solutions.

• Offer support for interface solutions and associated workflows.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in EDI or Project Management, ideally within the Healthcare sector.

• At least 3 years of experience collaborating with various EMR vendors and/or laboratories on connectivity initiatives is advantageous.

• Previous experience with Labcorp is preferred.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.

• Strong skills in project management, organization, and customer service.

• Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision.

• Capable of managing multiple projects at the same time.

• Ability to work independently or collaboratively within a team.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).

• Familiarity with laboratory operations and internal processes.

• This is a full-time, exempt position scheduled for the first shift, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. EST.

• Must be flexible to work earlier, later, or additional hours as business needs arise, with reasonable notice when feasible.
