EDGAR Filing Agent

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Converts and submits level 1-2 EDGAR filings independently without management guidance.

• Converts and submits level 3 EDGAR filings with management assistance.

• Ensures high-quality, prompt turnaround of converted EDGAR documents, facilitating timely client review prior to filing.

• Transforms documents into an EDGAR-compliant format and submits them to the SEC on behalf of clients, adhering to schedules and regulations.

• Coordinates advance payment of filing fees with clients in line with SEC provisions.

• Confirms and sends SEC acceptance notices to clients.

• Submits an EWFS to the billing department after the completion of each daily EDGAR job.

• Maintains a daily log of all pending and filed jobs for the reporting cycle.

• Oversees iXBRL trackers to ensure compliance with iXBRL rules for clients.

• Aids the manager with projects and keeps abreast of SEC requirements and new regulations.

• Assists in maintaining summary prospectus websites to ensure client compliance.

• Performs clerical and administrative support tasks for team members.

• Trains junior associates on conversion techniques, policies, and procedures.

• Provides guidance and oversight to the team as necessary.

• Engages in daily communication with clients regarding EDGAR filing services, clarifying requests, and reviewing printing needs.

• Acts as the direct point of contact in the absence of management.

⛳️ Requirements

• An undergraduate degree or equivalent qualification.

• 5-7 years of experience in SEC EDGAR filings.

• Familiarity with typesetting.

• Equivalent education and experience will be taken into account.
