This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Drive sales in the current markets of the Superior Boiler brand.
• Identify strategies to target new market potential.
• Generate sales through an established representative network.
• Facilitate collaboration across departments to ensure market feedback informs brand strategies.
• Oversee sales activities within the designated region to enhance sales and maintain market leadership.
• Lead business initiatives in all markets utilizing established sales channels.
• Develop and execute regional, brand, and divisional sales plans.
• Prepare regular sales reports detailing initiative success, representative participation, growth opportunities, and regional performance.
• Create and share industry profiles within key vertical markets.
• Act as a subject matter expert in steam, hot water boilers, and combustion technology.
• Identify and assess new product ideas and their potential.
• Serve as the primary contact for representatives in the assigned region.
• Facilitate interactions between internal and external resources.
• Collaborate with product management, marketing, and representatives on product presentations and application support.
• Complete other projects and tasks assigned by the Director of Superior Boiler or company management.
• Travel to field sites, expected to be around 50%, with travel requirements varying by region.
• BA/BS degree; relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Over 5 years of experience in consultative or value-based technical sales management.
• Proven track record of increasing market share in technical sales.
• Industry experience with the ability to provide technical insights into Watts product lines and solutions.
• Familiarity with the concepts, practices, and procedures of the field.
• Experience in independently negotiating sales activities to enhance brand sales while adhering to brand policies.
• Mechanical drafting skills.
• Understanding of and compliance with applicable laws, codes, policies, regulations, and safety practices.
• Must successfully establish employment eligibility.
• Must satisfactorily complete background checks and required pre-employment testing.
• Ability to travel to field sites, expected to be around 50%.
• Ability to frequently walk, talk, and/or hear.
• Ability to occasionally stand, sit, and use hands for tasks such as handling or feeling.
• Ability to occasionally lift or move up to 30 pounds.
• Close, color, peripheral, and depth vision; ability to adjust focus.
• Ability to read documents, use a computer, and perform data entry.
• Ability to communicate clearly with management, coworkers, representatives, and customers.
• Ability to operate standard office equipment.
• Previous experience in combustion technology is preferred.
• A BS degree in a technical discipline is preferred.
