This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee and refresh content on the Shopify storefront and the Shop app, which includes the homepage, collections, PDPs, banners, and navigation.
• Organize collections for optimal discovery and conversion utilizing sorting logic, inventory-aware guidelines, and seasonal updates.
• Create and implement landing pages using reusable theme sections and components driven by metafields.
• Handle redirects, URL handles, and 404 errors efficiently.
• Manage the onboarding of new products and collections, covering variants, pricing, imagery, metafields, tags, publishing channels, and launch timing.
• Prepare, schedule, conduct quality assurance, verify, and tidy up campaign content across the site.
• Set up and test discount codes, automatic discounts, scheduled pricing, bundles, gift-with-purchase offers, and shipping thresholds.
• Execute pre-launch quality assurance and go-live verification in accordance with documented checklists.
• Organize, tag, and categorize products for filtering, search functionality, and automated collections.
• Take ownership of metafield population and ensure data completeness.
• Monitor the health of sales channels and feeds across the Shop app, Google Merchant Center, Meta, and other connected platforms; address disapprovals and feed errors.
• Enhance on-site search through the use of synonym dictionaries, evaluating zero-result queries, and applying boost and bury rules, along with merchandising high-intent queries.
• Refine category and collection organization based on customer navigation patterns.
• Uphold site compliance practices, which include alt text, color contrast, keyboard navigation, focus states, form labels, and heading structures.
• Ensure that on-site claims, disclosures, and promotional terms receive Legal approval.
• Analyze GA4 and Microsoft Clarity to pinpoint friction points, drop-off rates, and merchandising opportunities, and take action based on findings.
• Provide regular site performance updates and post-campaign summaries.
• Act as the first point of contact for site defects by triaging, reproducing, documenting, and escalating issues to the engineering team.
• Oversee theme changes through staging and previews, including reviews prior to publishing and regression checks afterward.
• Manage on-site reviews and user-generated content display, including widget placement, review syndication to new SKUs, and moderation of Q&A.
• Draft and maintain standard operating procedure documentation for team transparency.
• 1–3 years of experience in e-commerce operations, digital merchandising, or web production.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Hands-on experience with the Shopify back-end, including SKUs, collections, variants, tags, metafields, and theme section configurations.
• Familiar with bulk editing and managing sales channel feeds, including Google Merchant Center, Meta, and the Shop app.
• Practical knowledge of product sorting logic, promotional strategies such as discounts, bundles, and gift-with-purchase offers, as well as site search optimization, including synonyms and boost/bury rules.
• Basic proficiency in GA4 and Microsoft Clarity.
• Working understanding of WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility standards, covering alt text, color contrast, and semantic HTML.
• Strong attention to detail for quality assurance during pre-launch promotions.
• Ability to reproduce bugs, document specifics, and escalate tickets to the engineering team.
• Proven history of drafting clear standard operating procedures and managing launch schedules, staging previews, and promotional clean-ups.
• Preferred: hands-on experience with autonomous AI agents for direct-to-consumer e-commerce brands.
• Preferred: understanding of consumer queries in the beauty industry, including hair type diagnostics, ingredient compatibility, and routine building.
