Dual Credit Coordinator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver designated course material in an online setting

• Create engaging and interactive synchronous and asynchronous learning experiences

• Tailor learning approaches for each student

• Differentiate instruction based on student understanding and mastery

• Enhance course content utilizing asynchronous and synchronous tools with guidance from principals and coaches

• Manage the grade book and uphold student academic integrity

• Make decisions regarding student placement and promotion

• Notify administrators about concerns related to student performance and progress

• Prepare students for high-stakes standardized assessments

• Build and maintain positive relationships with families

• Communicate promptly with students and learning coaches/parents

• Assist learning coaches/parents with curricular, instructional, and basic virtual classroom troubleshooting issues

• Monitor student progress via Stride K12’s learning management system

• Travel occasionally, up to 20%, for in-person professional development, student assessments, and school obligations

⛳️ Requirements

• Possession of any active teaching certificate

• Residency in Indiana

• Bachelor's degree

• Valid state teaching license

• Capability to pass required background checks

• Ability to work independently, typically exceeding 40 hours per week

• Capacity to maintain a professional, distraction-free home office during work hours

• Skill in collaborating with fellow educators to analyze and create numerical, tabular, and graphical student-data representations

• Ability to utilize student data to inform instructional strategies

• Openness to regular coaching from administrators and teacher trainers

• Willingness to adapt and embrace changes to ensure optimal student outcomes

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint

• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and teaching platforms

• Willingness to travel up to 20% for in-person professional development, student assessments, and school obligations
