
DLP Strategy Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Switzerland.
• Develop the target-state DLP architecture encompassing endpoint, network, email, cloud, and collaboration platforms.
• Establish DLP policies, data classification strategies, detection logic, and operational models.
• Ensure coherence among security engineering, infrastructure, data governance, legal/compliance, and business teams.
• Facilitate architecture workshops and guide technical and business design choices.
• Provide expertise on Microsoft Purview, Zscaler, and Symantec DLP architecture, as well as coexistence and migration strategies.
• Create architecture documentation, decision records, reference designs, and roadmaps.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, balancing security, compliance, and business requirements.
• Over 10 years of experience in Data Loss Prevention, data protection, or information security consulting.
• Demonstrated experience in designing enterprise-scale DLP solutions from strategy through to architecture.
• Strong hands-on expertise in at least two of the following: Microsoft Purview (Information Protection/DLP), Zscaler (ZIA/ZPA/CASB), Symantec DLP.
• Solid understanding of data classification, sensitivity labeling, and content inspection.
• Experience in designing DLP solutions across endpoint, email, cloud, web, and collaboration platforms.
• Experience in leading workshops with senior stakeholders and influencing architectural decisions.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Preferred: Experience in Retail, Consumer Goods, or FMCG sectors.
• Familiarity with GDPR and other data protection regulations.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, CIPP/E, SC-400, or vendor-specific certifications.
• Experience with Insider Risk Management.
• Exposure to Zero Trust and SASE initiatives.
• Knowledge in enterprise data discovery and classification.
• Proficiency in the French language.
• Previous consulting experience in large international programs.
• Remote-first work environment.
• Occasional travel for client workshops in the Geneva region.
• Experience in an international consulting setting.
• English-speaking project opportunities.
