This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nevada, +2 more states.
• Supervise sales operations within a designated geographical area
• Lead a team of sales representatives
• Establish sales objectives and formulate strategies to achieve them
• Provide reports on sales performance metrics
• Guide the district team to enhance performance and meet or exceed sales and budget goals
• Mentor and support team members for their professional growth
• Evaluate, interview, and recruit candidates
• Ensure adherence to training protocols
• Conduct annual and continuous performance evaluations and competency reviews
• Collaborate and communicate with district and cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Finance, and various business units
• Monitor the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and initiatives
• Offer insights on marketing, resource allocation, and the utilization of internal and external assets
• Exchange best practices with direct reports and colleagues
• Organize or take part in cluster team activities
• Hold district sales meetings
• Build relationships with local Opinion Leaders to achieve shared goals
• Doctorate degree with 2 years of Sales/Marketing experience, or Master’s degree with 6 years, or Bachelor’s degree with 8 years, or Associate’s degree with 10 years, or high school diploma/GED with 12 years
• Minimum of 2 years of managerial experience directly overseeing team members and/or leadership experience guiding teams, projects, programs, or directing resource allocation
• Preferred 3+ years of specialty sales experience
• Preferred 3+ years in a similar role with direct management of staff
• Experience in biologics is preferred
• Familiarity with the buy and bill model is preferred
• Capacity to identify and encourage successful behaviors while diagnosing and modifying unsatisfactory ones through coaching
• Ability to utilize market and customer insights to tailor messages, resources, and actions within the territory
• Understanding of local payor coverage
• Proficiency in articulating clinical concepts, data, and conclusions
• Capability to use clinical information to respond to customer inquiries and objections
• Competency in recruiting candidates who meet essential job qualifications
• Skill in interviewing and selecting capable, dedicated sales representatives
• Strong sense of accountability and proven self-discipline
• Demonstrated success in setting both short- and long-term objectives while effectively communicating and collaborating with sales teams, peers, and business-unit partners
