Distribution Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Create area forecasts to assess inventory requirements by aligning with platform strategies and grasping market demands.

• Manage inventory effectively, including minimizing aging stock and facilitating inventory transfers within the area, along with overseeing warehouse operations such as inventory tracking, shipping, receiving, cost control, safety, and compliance.

• Serve as the intermediary between SGS Area Management and the Platform Procurement Team.

• Assess Area Product requests, place purchase requisitions, and maintain the purchasing information system.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of relevant experience and/or training in procurement, distribution, logistics, or supply chain analytics.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• Detail-oriented with the capacity to handle multiple priorities.

• Proficient understanding of forecasting and inventory management is essential.

• Experience with basic Excel functions is required.

• Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., Power Bi).

• Experience in Agriculture, Retail Ag, or Crop Protection is preferred.
