This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Receive service requests from customers as they come in.
• Allocate the right technicians based on their skills, availability, and location.
• Track technician status and keep customers updated on estimated arrival times and service progress.
• Maintain detailed records of service calls, including specifics and technician details.
• Oversee service calls to ensure they are resolved promptly and escalate issues when necessary.
• Collaborate with other departments to fulfill service level agreements.
• Keep track of technician availability and adjust schedules as needed.
• Conduct dispatch administration tasks such as data entry, filing, and generating reports.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures regarding service calls, technician safety, and customer service.
• Analyze dispatch operations for opportunities to enhance efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.
• Complete required training and assessments and engage in performance and development evaluations.
• Take part in internal or external meetings, special events, and professional growth opportunities.
• Share knowledge and provide cross-training to other team members.
• Assist with routine tasks and undertake other related responsibilities as assigned.
• Must be eligible for employment in the US without sponsorship.
• Minimum age of 18 years.
• High School Diploma or GED, or a comparable combination of education and experience is mandatory.
• At least 1-2 years of experience in dispatch operations, ideally within the telecom sector.
• A minimum of 1-2 years of experience with Salesforce or a similar platform is essential.
• Knowledge of dispatching best practices and practical experience using dispatch software and tools to enhance operations is required.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and industry best practices related to field service operations and logistics management is necessary.
• Demonstrated geographical knowledge of the service area and the ability to read maps is required.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as scheduled.
• Typing speed of at least 40 words per minute is required.
• Strong communication skills in English, including speaking, reading, writing, and comprehension, are a must.
• Proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
