Dispatch Representative, Weekends

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Oversee and monitor active shipments throughout weekend overnight hours, ensuring real-time visibility and service quality.

• Liaise with customers, drivers, and internal teams concerning shipment status, delivery timelines, and operational challenges.

• Refresh customer portals, systems, and shipment records with accurate and timely updates.

• Arrange pickup and delivery appointments while ensuring customer specifications are fulfilled.

• Detect, escalate, and address service interruptions, delays, load recoveries, and other operational irregularities.

• Address customer inquiries and complaints, delivering prompt solutions and follow-ups.

• Compile and disseminate overnight reports, ensuring all critical updates and exceptions reach the daytime operations team.

• Maintain precise documentation and collaborate efficiently with customers, carriers, and internal partners.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in sales and account management within the transportation and logistics sector is preferred.

• A recent degree from a college or university in Marketing or a related Business field is mandatory.

• Previous experience in an analyst role or within a pricing function is considered an asset.

• Capability to comprehend business processing requirements using technology and envision innovative solutions for implementation.

• Experience in B2B sales with intricate deals is advantageous.

• Solid understanding of the sales planning process.

• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills, along with strong interpersonal and customer relations abilities.

• Proven negotiation skills with a successful closing track record.

• Ability to operate independently with minimal supervision while also thriving in a team setting.
