This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Oversee relationship management and coordination for substantial corporate accounts focused on Disability Management.

• Prepare and deliver client and industry presentations pertaining to Absence & Disability Management programs.

• Partner with the Regional Sales team and Disability Center of Excellence to pinpoint existing client solutions regarding disability challenges.

• Collaborate closely with disability operations to provide prompt and effective service to clients.

• Foster and sustain positive working relationships with employers to enhance satisfaction in the provision of disability management services.

• Oversee the rollout of disability programs for new clients.

• Employ a proactive and strategic approach to assist employers with analysis, reporting, and problem-solving in relation to their disability plan's performance.

• Actively advocate for solutions and services that create value and promote improved workplace health and productivity.

• Effectively influence and negotiate across diverse environments and sectors related to wellness, absence, and disability management.


⛳️ Requirements

• Profound understanding, extensive knowledge, and expertise in disability (Absence Management, STD, LTD) case management best practices and processes.

• Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities.

• Bilingual proficiency in English and French is an advantage.

• High level of financial insight.

• Exceptional problem-solving capabilities.

• Proven excellence as a dynamic speaker, successfully delivering presentations to employers and at industry events.

• Highly developed analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills with a strategic perspective on evaluating issues.

• Capacity to prioritize tasks effectively under stringent deadlines.

• Ability to influence and negotiate with both internal and external stakeholders.

• General familiarity with Manulife's company policies, systems, and functions would be beneficial.

• Competence in maintaining and nurturing positive and effective relationships across various operations including disability, sales, and underwriting.

• Strong project management and leadership capabilities.
