This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the national team of LSD Therapy Access Managers.
• Establish clear expectations, promote accountability, and ensure uniform execution of access and reimbursement strategies across various regions.
• Convert strategic priorities into actionable field execution plans that enhance patient access.
• Develop and track data-driven insights, dashboards, and critical performance metrics.
• Detect trends, identify gaps, evaluate team performance, and guide business decisions.
• Produce guidance documents and field resources for interactions with institutional stakeholders and healthcare providers regarding access and reimbursement for infused products.
• Integrate digital capabilities and technological advancements to streamline workflows.
• Maintain expertise in market access and policy within the rare disease sector.
• Collaborate with Patient Access Services, National Accounts, Sales, Marketing, Trade, Compliance, Clinical, and Operations teams.
• Leverage payer, market, and field intelligence to pinpoint reimbursement obstacles and refine team focus and resource distribution.
• Ensure team activities adhere to company policies, legal requirements, and regulatory standards.
• Represent the team in leadership forums, national meetings, and cross-functional planning discussions.
• Travel to provide support for team leadership, field engagement, and business objectives.
• Report directly to the Senior Director of US Access Accounts.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare industry, with substantial experience in market access, reimbursement, patient support, or related commercial areas.
• At least 5 years of leadership experience in coaching, developing, and managing high-performing field-based or matrix teams.
• A Bachelor’s degree is required; an advanced degree is preferred.
• Proven success in executing access and reimbursement strategies on a large scale.
• Strong experience in utilizing data and analytics to generate insights, assess performance, and formulate action plans.
• Comprehensive understanding of access and reimbursement dynamics, payer policies, site-of-care considerations, and patient access challenges within rare disease contexts.
• Experience with both buy-and-bill and Specialty Pharmacy distribution pathways.
• Extensive knowledge of government and commercial payer landscapes.
• Capability to engage with prescribers, institutional decision-makers, and patients.
• Solid understanding of patient services/HUB programs and experience in collaboration with HUB roles.
• Demonstrated ability to influence within a highly matrixed organization and communicate effectively with senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of HIPAA, OIG guidance, the Anti-Kickback Statute, relevant company policies, and industry standards.
• Exceptional leadership, coaching, and talent development skills.
• Excellent strategic thinking, execution, and change management abilities.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to convert complex data into actionable insights and clear performance metrics.
• Outstanding communication and presentation abilities.
• Strong organizational skills, sound judgment, and attention to detail.
• Capability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Willingness to travel as necessary, up to approximately 50%.
• Preferred: experience in leading national field teams, rare disease/specialty/launch experience, business reviews, scorecards, dashboards, CRM and analytics platforms such as Salesforce.com, limited distribution, and specialty pharmacy channels.
• Travel as needed to assist team leadership, field engagement, and business priorities.
