This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead and oversee the teams responsible for Epic Ambulatory and MyChart applications, including hiring, coaching, performance evaluation, and professional growth.
• Develop strategic roadmaps for the optimization projects related to Ambulatory and MyChart that align with the organization's objectives.
• Collaborate with physician leaders, operational stakeholders, and executive management to pinpoint opportunities for enhancing workflows and patient engagement.
• Supervise the design, development, testing, implementation, and support of Epic Ambulatory and MyChart solutions.
• Manage project portfolios, upgrades, system enhancements, and optimization initiatives for ambulatory and patient-facing applications.
• Ensure adherence to Epic Foundation standards, organizational governance protocols, and industry best practices.
• Promote the usage of MyChart features such as online scheduling, eCheck-In, questionnaires, patient messaging, telehealth, and self-service tools for patients.
• Work in conjunction with clinical, operational, revenue cycle, and technical teams to guarantee smooth integration across Epic applications.
• Track system performance, resolve issues, maintain service levels, and ensure application reliability.
• Spearhead change management efforts and facilitate organizational readiness for new functionalities and system upgrades.
• Create and maintain application documentation, policies, procedures, and governance frameworks.
• Manage relationships with vendors and coordinate with Epic representatives on strategic initiatives and improvements to applications.
• Ensure that regulatory, privacy, and security standards are upheld across all supported applications.
• Provide executive-level updates regarding application performance, project progress, team productivity, and key operational metrics.
• Support organizational objectives pertaining to patient access, provider satisfaction, quality outcomes, and digital transformation.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience with Epic applications, specifically supporting Ambulatory and/or MyChart.
• A minimum of 3 years in healthcare IT leadership or management roles.
• Current Epic Ambulatory Certification.
• Current Epic MyChart Certification.
• Proven experience leading application analysts and cross-functional project teams.
• In-depth knowledge of ambulatory clinical workflows, provider scheduling, patient engagement strategies, and healthcare operations.
• Experience in managing large-scale Epic implementations, upgrades, and optimization projects.
• Strong project management, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Familiarity with healthcare regulations, privacy standards, and industry best practices.
