This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Define and lead the vision for the mobile platform – Cultivate a culture centered on technical excellence, innovation, and collaboration.
• Build and develop a high-performing team – Attract, mentor, and nurture engineering leaders and individual contributors, promoting a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
• Deliver an exceptional mobile experience – Oversee the creation of a robust, native iOS application that allows users to apply for loans, manage their accounts, and handle repayments effortlessly.
• Implement success metrics – Set clear KPIs to assess engineering efficiency, product performance, and business impact.
• Promote automation and process enhancements – Advocate for best practices in mobile development, CI/CD, testing, and deployment.
• Strategic planning and prioritization – Collaborate with cross-functional teams to formulate and implement medium- and long-term mobile strategies.
• Demonstrated experience leading mobile engineering teams within high-growth, consumer-oriented technology firms.
• Strong expertise in native mobile development using React Native (preferably both iOS and Android), with comprehensive knowledge of engineering best practices, frameworks, and scalable architectures.
• Proven ability to scale and organize teams, balancing technical leadership with effective people management.
• Experience collaborating closely with Product, Design, and Analytics teams to create customer-focused mobile experiences.
• A data-driven approach, with a solid capability to measure impact and foster continuous improvement.
