Director, Security Compliance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Manage the governance of security and technology risks across Circle’s global operations.

• Lead initiatives in the security roadmap, ensuring thorough integration with engineering, product, and international growth strategies.

• Act as the main contact point for regulators and auditors in Circle France.

• Collaborate with both global and regional teams to enhance security governance, risk management, and operational resilience.

⛳️ Requirements

• More than 15 years of experience in cybersecurity, technology risk management, IT governance, or similar fields.

• Extensive knowledge of MiCA, DORA, and EU/global cybersecurity and technology regulations.

• Demonstrated experience in leading and influencing diverse international teams.

• In-depth understanding of security and IT control frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, COBIT).

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline; advanced degrees or professional certifications (CISA, CRISC, CISSP, CISM) are preferred.

• Proficiency in English is required; fluency in French is also necessary.
