📋 Description

• Teach for America is enhancing our commitment to our student outcomes strategy, which integrates various methods to evaluate student performance and utilize data for program enhancement.

• Assist in gathering student data from district and school partners across TFA regions.

• Establish and oversee strategic partnerships for data sharing with school districts and state agencies.

• Cultivate and sustain strong connections with Local Education Agencies (LEAs) and State Education Agencies (SEAs).

• Build trust with district and state partners to ensure the prompt sharing of student achievement data.

• Act as the primary liaison for partner agencies during the data collection process.

• Direct regional student data collection initiatives, including the development and management of project plans.

• Analyze and convert student achievement data into actionable insights.

• Ensure that data collection, storage, and reporting adhere to policies and uphold student data privacy regulations.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 4 years of professional experience collaborating with Local Education Agencies (LEAs) or State Education Agencies (SEAs) in areas such as assessments, student data systems, data sharing agreements, or a closely related field.

• Proficient in collecting, cleaning, validating, and analyzing large and complex student assessment datasets.

• Familiarity with student information systems, assessment platforms, or other educational data systems.

• Strong analytical abilities with expertise in one or more data analysis tools (e.g., R, Python, Power BI).

• Established project management skills, including the coordination of multiple projects, stakeholders, and competing priorities.

• Proven capability to build robust relationships and gain credibility with both internal partners and external education stakeholders.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex data into clear, actionable insights for varied audiences.

• Demonstrated aptitude for navigating ambiguity, taking initiative, and enhancing or developing processes.

• Commitment to upholding student data privacy and exercising sound judgment in the management of sensitive information.

• An advanced degree or certification in education, data analytics, statistics, public policy, or a related discipline (preferred).

• Understanding of federal and state student data privacy laws and regulations (preferred).

• Experience in designing automated data workflows or enhancing data collection and reporting processes (preferred).

• Background in facilitating data interpretation, training, or professional development for educators or cross-functional teams (preferred).
