Director, Product Management – AI/Data Platform

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Oversee the essential data infrastructure that underpins all AI-driven insights and intelligent functionalities at SailPoint.

• Develop and enhance the platform that gathers, processes, and enriches extensive identity data.

• Crafted to intelligently gather, transform, normalize, correlate, summarize, and store both customer-specific and third-party data.

• Provide support for the R&D organization, ensuring consistency, quality, and efficiency in delivery.

• Introduce significant new platform capabilities that are utilized by several product teams to launch AI-driven features.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Over 8 years of experience in product management, including at least 3 years in a leadership position overseeing a team of product managers.

• Proven expertise in developing and scaling enterprise-level data platforms, focusing on AI and machine learning capabilities.

• Extensive experience and a deep understanding of designing data platforms that ensure backward compatibility and include robust migration tools.

• Demonstrated experience with cloud-based software (SaaS) and a comprehensive understanding of agent-based technologies.

• In-depth expertise across the data technology spectrum, including both relational and non-relational databases, large-scale data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake), and modern streaming systems (e.g., Kafka, Flink).

• Strong capability to devise and implement a practical plan for a dependable, scalable data system and the architecture needed to support it.

• Proven track record in leading and mentoring teams of product managers.

• A history of defining, launching, and scaling successful data platforms and AI-enhanced products in an agile setting.

• Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and align stakeholders from operational teams to the executive level.
