This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Design and spearhead VF’s multimedia content strategy, which includes webinars, podcasts, short-form videos, social media initiatives, and innovative formats.
• Exhibit strong project management skills by creating clear workflows, establishing realistic timelines, and ensuring projects remain on schedule.
• Gather and analyze audience feedback, demographics, engagement metrics, and content performance data to assess impact, enhance reach, and guide multimedia content, platform, and format decisions for VF's varied stakeholder audiences.
• Monitor emerging digital trends, platforms, and technologies, providing forward-thinking recommendations to leadership.
• Collaborate with the team to create audience surveys and feedback mechanisms for the continuous evaluation and refinement of VF’s multimedia strategy.
• Contribute to VF’s developing organizational philosophy regarding AI's role in content creation, distribution, and digital engagement.
• Oversee the complete production process of VF’s webinar program, from topic selection and speaker coordination to recording, editing, distribution, and tracking key metrics.
• Manage webinar platforms and related tools, ensuring a seamless experience for presenters and attendees.
• Build partnerships with physicians, medical specialists, patient advocates, and other subject matter experts to create relevant, high-quality educational content.
• Supervise and assist in the production and video editing of various content formats, from full-length educational recordings to brief awareness clips and social media materials.
• Develop and manage VF’s podcast program from inception to distribution, including format creation, booking, recording, editing, and publishing.
• Create, produce, and oversee short-form multimedia content that enhances engagement and brand visibility (e.g., viral videos, conference highlights, campaign support videos, impact messaging).
• Organize and manage digital asset storage across platforms, ensuring content is accessible, well-organized, and consistently updated.
• Collaborate with VF’s contract videographers for in-person event coverage and manage vendor relationships as necessary.
• Work with the Marketing & Communications and Development teams to produce multimedia content that aligns with organizational goals, including patient education, clinical outreach, fundraising campaigns, and donor engagement.
• Assist in developing campaign videos, awareness content, and other multimedia assets across various departments.
• Ensure that organizational photography and visual assets (headshots, event photos, conference coverage) are captured, systematically organized, and easily accessible.
• Approach cross-functional work collaboratively and humbly, influencing without direct authority and keeping stakeholders aligned and on schedule.
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Digital Media, Film/Video Production, Marketing, or a related field.
• Over 5 years of experience in multimedia production, showcasing a proven track record in producing webinars, podcasts, and video content from start to finish.
• Proficient in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar) and comfortable with the entire post-production workflow.
• Experience with webinar platforms and production tools (e.g., Zoom Webinars, Riverside, StreamYard, or similar).
• Working knowledge of major social media platforms and the ability to tailor content for diverse audiences and channels.
• Portfolio or work samples that illustrate a range of multimedia production (webinars, podcasts, social media content, videos).
• Strong project management abilities, capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously, working independently, and meeting competing deadlines in a remote setting.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with prior experience in building relationships across teams and engaging professionally with physicians, patients, and external partners.
• Experience working with or managing contract vendors, including videographers and editors.
• Familiarity with analytics tools and a proven record of using data to inform content strategy.
• Understanding of AI tools as they apply to content creation, and an openness to their evolving role in multimedia production.
• Willingness to travel for VF events, patient conferences, and related activities (approximately 3–5 times per year, with occasional international travel).

• Ability to work independently and manage workload with minimal supervision in a fully remote environment.
