This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Supervise and actively participate in the month-end closing process, ensuring precision, timeliness, and compliance with audit standards across journal entries and reconciliations.
• Lead the annual financial audit and semi-annual collateral audit, maintaining relationships with auditors and overseeing internal execution.
• Act as the organization's subject-matter expert in accounting, creating policies and procedures to guarantee GAAP compliance.
• Prepare and deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Implement and oversee controls, policies, and procedures to minimize risk.
• Lead and manage the accounting team, promoting a culture of ongoing improvement while providing coaching and career development opportunities.
• Conduct monthly variance and trend analyses to assess financial performance and suggest actions.
• Create presentations of financial performance for leadership.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and ad hoc financial modeling.
• Directly supervise the Senior Accountant; collaborate with the Manager of Finance & Strategy; and report to the Senior Vice President of Finance & Strategy.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
• An active Certified Professional Accountant (CPA) license is mandatory.
• Over 8 years of relevant accounting (preferably audit) and finance experience.
• Proven experience managing an end-to-end audit process.
• Familiarity with general ledger systems (e.g., NetSuite).
• More than 4 years of management experience.
• Demonstrated track record of overseeing end-to-end accounting for multiple entities.
• Strong and demonstrable proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets.
• Solid analytical skills and a comprehensive understanding of US GAAP.
• Exceptional communication, organization, time management, and prioritization abilities.
• Fully remote work.
