This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develops and executes a comprehensive DevOps strategy that aligns with the organization’s business goals and technology roadmap.
• Promotes the integration of DevOps principles and practices (such as CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and continuous monitoring) throughout the platform.
• Sets and upholds high standards for security, compliance, and governance within the DevOps framework.
• Remains informed about the latest trends and best practices in DevOps, cloud technologies, containerization, and Microsoft application development.
• Advocates for the use of AI-driven developer and operations tools (e.g., AI coding assistants, AIOps, intelligent observability) to streamline routine tasks and enhance engineering productivity across the platform.
• Assembles and leads a high-performing DevOps team proficient in Microsoft technologies, AWS cloud infrastructure, containers, and EKS services.
• Conducts performance evaluations of team members and oversees the performance review and compensation processes.
• Manages daily cloud operations across AWS environments, ensuring the SaaS platform’s high availability, performance, and cost-effectiveness.
• Designs, implements, and sustains scalable, secure, and resilient cloud network architectures, including VPCs, subnets, transit gateways, peering, and hybrid connectivity.
• Implements and manages identity and access management (IAM), secrets management, key management, and least-privilege access controls across cloud environments.
• Over 7 years of experience in DevOps management, with a particular emphasis on multi-tenant platforms operating on AWS infrastructure.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; an MBA is preferred.
• A proven history of leading and developing high-performing DevOps teams.
• Demonstrated proficiency in CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and monitoring tools for hosted applications on AWS, using containers and EKS services.
• Ability to collaborate with the Engineering team and lead release management practices.
• Experience with SQL and unstructured databases and their integration into DevOps workflows.
• Strong grasp of containerization technologies (such as Docker and Kubernetes) and hands-on experience with EKS management.
• Exceptional communication, collaboration, and leadership abilities.
• Capability to think strategically and convert vision into executable plans.
• A passion for DevOps, continuous improvement, and SaaS-native technologies.
