• Assume full responsibility for pricing and scoping assistance for the largest enterprise deals, ensuring commercial precision and alignment with Superside's service offerings and delivery capabilities.
• Assess and validate your team's scopes, pricing frameworks, and deal setups throughout the opportunity pipeline.
• Collaborate closely with Account Executives and the wider Solutions team to convert discovery insights and customer needs into commercially viable proposals.
• Work alongside internal subject matter experts to enhance scoping and solution quality on complex, high-stakes deals.
• Advocate for the integration of AI tools to expedite Deal Desk operations — from automating scope generation and pricing lookups to extracting insights from historical deal data; in close partnership with the Head of Solutions Operations and Enablement.
• Identify opportunities where AI can lessen manual workload and enhance the speed and accuracy of the pricing & scoping workflow, and lead the execution of these enhancements.
• Stay informed about AI advancements pertinent to commercial operations, sales enablement, and proposal automation.
• Demonstrate AI-driven working methods for the Deal Desk team and the broader Solutions function.
• Oversee and nurture a team of Deal Desk Associates, establishing clear priorities, quality benchmarks, and turnaround expectations.
• Serve as the escalation point for the team on complex, ambiguous, or high-stakes deals that require senior-level judgment.
• Propel ongoing improvements across Deal Desk workflows, tools, and documentation — crafting a function that scales with deal volume while maintaining quality.
• Define and monitor team performance metrics, such as deal velocity, pricing accuracy, and SLA compliance.
• Manage Deal Desk reporting — encompassing pricing trends, deal velocity, win/loss analysis, and scope accuracy — and present insights to the Head of Solutions.
• Uphold and implement pricing governance frameworks, ensuring that deals are structured within approved parameters and that exceptions are managed with appropriate visibility.
• Create and maintain playbooks, pricing manuals, and reference documentation that empower the team and sales partners.
• Extensive experience in Deal Desk, sales operations/strategy, or a pricing/scoping role within a creative, marketing, or professional services context.
• Proven success in managing or leading a team, with the capability to develop talent and sustain high-quality output in a dynamic environment.
• Strong commercial insight — capable of structuring deals that are both competitive for customers and financially sound for the business.
• Analytical and data-driven, with the capacity to track performance, recognize patterns, and provide evidence-based recommendations.
• Genuine interest in and proficiency with AI tools — particularly as they relate to commercial operations, proposal generation, and workflow automation.
• Highly organized, with the ability to juggle multiple concurrent deals and priorities without compromising accuracy or responsiveness.
• Excellent communication skills — clear, concise, and credible with both internal stakeholders and, when necessary, customers.
