This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Utilize your expertise in data and healthcare to articulate and share the vision and strategy for Wellth’s data ingestion, warehousing, transformation, analytics, and reporting systems.
• Play a key role in designing and implementing Wellth’s data product functionalities (e.g., outcomes reporting, personalization, etc.).
• Bring our next generation of attributed outcomes reporting to fruition, driving customer growth through enhanced member health outcomes – these improved results are our primary offering!
• Lead and develop a high-performing team of data and analytics engineers.
• Execute the vision by defining and guiding the implementation of data projects that yield improved health outcomes for our members and clients.
• Collaborate with product team members, technical leaders, and senior executives to effectively understand and meet the needs of both internal and external stakeholders.
• Continuously uphold and enhance the data quality standards throughout the data lifecycle, drawing from your experience with data quality issues arising from partner and third-party data.
• Safeguard the privacy of Wellth’s data, its customers, and their patients by adhering to secure SDLC practices to maintain our HITRUST certification.
• A proven and effective people manager with a minimum of 8 years of experience in a management position, including over 5 years managing and developing a team of data engineers.
• Hands-on and willing to engage directly with the codebase when necessary.
• Extensive experience in healthcare, with at least 5 years in the sector working with data such as PBM data, HEDIS engine exports, Medical Claims / Encounters, Eligibility, and Labs.
• Demonstrated success in delivering production data systems, with over 5 years of professional experience in building, operating, and enhancing them.
• Skilled in operational excellence, having over 5 years of experience troubleshooting, resolving, and learning from operational challenges in production systems.
• Proficient in analytics and reporting, with at least 5 years of experience converting complex data into actionable business insights.
• Experienced in data strategy, governance, and operations, with more than 5 years delivering solutions in these domains.
• An effective collaborator with business leaders, technology leaders, and senior executives, able to communicate clearly and concisely to diverse technical audiences.
• Familiar with our technology stack, including experience with SQL, Python, dbt, Redshift, Fivetran, Airflow, Postgres, AWS, and others.
• Knowledgeable in data privacy and security, with experience collaborating with teams from People, Product, Customer Success, Sales, Legal, Compliance, and Privacy to ensure adherence to best practices and compliance standards for data privacy and security.
