
Director of Business Planning – Strategic Initiatives

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborate with the Chief Product and Technology Officer (CPTO) to create a comprehensive three-year strategic plan aimed at enhancing product adoption, ensuring revenue retention and growth, and delivering customer value.
• Assist executives with strategic initiatives.
• Oversee the yearly strategic and financial planning process across product functions, Finance, and Go-To-Market (GTM).
• Identify and manage key planning decisions, cross-functional dependencies, and any planning deficiencies.
• Work alongside Revenue Operations on tracking Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) and initiatives.
• Facilitate alignment and collaboration among the executive leadership team.
• Act as a trusted thought partner and force multiplier for the leadership team.
• Manage the leadership operating rhythm, which includes staff meetings, offsite events, quarterly business reviews (QBRs), and interactions with the board or executive committee.
• Prepare materials for board presentations, investor briefings, and executive leadership forums.
• Coordinate communication and reporting for global product and technology leaders.
• Monitor budget and headcount planning in conjunction with Finance and Revenue Operations.
• Establish team-wide communication rituals and content, such as intranet updates, newsletters, and town hall meetings.
• Create and distribute R&D strategy blogs and presentations.
• Observe organizational health indicators and propose necessary actions.
• Develop communications and presentations for team cascades, speaking engagements, and branding efforts, both internal and external.
• Lead cross-functional projects and governance for change management within transformation initiatives.
• Collaborate with program management teams to implement project and initiative plans.
• A minimum of 10+ years of experience in strategy, operations, or program management within a SaaS organization.
• Management consulting experience or equivalent is essential.
• Proven success in building, scaling, mobilizing, and refining strategy and associated programs or initiatives for complex businesses, particularly within a go-to-market context.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities, with a talent for building relationships across all organizational levels.
• Experience in organizational design, organizational behavior, leadership development, and/or team development.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficient in data analysis and leveraging metrics to inform decision-making and facilitate continuous improvement.
• Willingness to travel an average of 25% of the time, with occasional travel up to 50%; primarily domestic with some international travel.
• MBA is preferred.
