Director, Field Translational Science – Oncology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Build, develop, and lead a dedicated team of field-oriented translational scientists.

• Create and implement the regional data engagement strategy.

• Oversee the secure architecture for regional tracking and data ingestion pipelines.

• Manage the interface between field operations and internal leadership.

• Oversee the lifecycle of all regional investigator-initiated trials (IITs) and institutional registries.

• Secure and manage institutional data-sharing frameworks and biobanking initiatives.

• Represent Natera as a senior scientific authority at prominent oncology congresses.

⛳️ Requirements

• PhD or MD in Cancer Biology, Genomics, Bioinformatics, or a related complex molecular science field.

• Over 6 years of experience in oncology research, including at least 2 years in a leadership role managing scientific or clinical teams.

• Exceptional knowledge of cancer biology and genetics.

• Experience with liquid biopsy modalities, clinical applications, next-generation sequencing (NGS), and ctDNA workflows.

• Proven success in managing complex genomic datasets or clinical data registries.

• Demonstrated capability to lead teams through high levels of ambiguity.
