Director – Enterprise Data Platforms

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Provide strategic leadership and supervision of data management personnel as well as the organization's database systems and data warehouse platforms.

• Utilize advanced expertise in enterprise technology strategy and operations to oversee performance, security, and scalability of enterprise data environments that support the organizational strategy.

• Lead and guide senior information technology leaders, including directors and managers, with responsibility for performance, development, and succession planning.

• Create a strategic roadmap for database and data warehouse services that aligns with organizational priorities.

• Develop governance structures, policies, and standards for data management and architecture.

• Work collaboratively with senior leadership to ensure data initiatives are in line with business objectives.

• Supervise the administration of enterprise databases.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and three (3) years of experience in database administration, data warehousing, or data engineering.

• A valid driver’s license is required.

• Must be a resident of the United States.

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems, Mathematics, Data Communications, Engineering, Business, or similar fields (Preferred).

• Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems, Mathematics, Data Communications, Engineering, Business, or similar fields (Preferred).

• Experience supervising two (2) or more employees (Preferred).

• Familiarity with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) (Preferred).

• Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Data Analytics, Azure Data Engineer), or equivalent certifications will be accepted (Preferred).
