Director, Drug Safety Surveillance – PV Scientist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Offers support in safety science and pharmacovigilance for assigned molecules within the Ionis portfolio.

• Ensures the production of high-quality aggregate reports.

• Collaborates with Drug Safety Physicians to develop risk management documents.

• Coordinates safety review meetings.

• Engages in signal detection activities and assesses emerging safety data from various sources.

• Identifies and manages safety signals.

• Authors critical sections of periodic safety reports and other pharmacovigilance documents.

• Provides safety support throughout clinical development.

⛳️ Requirements

• Holds a Bachelor’s degree in life sciences with 12 years of relevant experience in pharmacovigilance within a pharmaceutical or biotechnology company.

• An advanced degree in a healthcare profession is highly preferred (e.g., MD, PharmD, or PhD) along with a minimum of 5 years of related experience.
