This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Define and implement the enterprise data engineering strategy to support business expansion, operational excellence, analytics, and AI projects.
• Set enterprise standards for data ingestion, integration, transformation, storage, quality, and delivery.
• Design a scalable data architecture that can accommodate a rapidly expanding and acquisition-focused organization.
• Create and uphold a multi-year roadmap for enterprise data capabilities and platform investments.
• Lead the design, execution, and management of the company's enterprise data platform and lakehouse architecture.
• Establish scalable frameworks for batch processing, real-time data handling, and event-driven data integration.
• Collaborate with Data & Information Architects to uphold enterprise data models and architecture standards.
• Develop repeatable integration frameworks for newly acquired businesses and units.
• Work alongside the Director of Data & AI Governance to implement governance controls within enterprise platforms and workflows.
• Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of Data Engineers, Data & Information Architects, and Governance experts.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Engineering, or a similar field.
• Over 12 years of progressive experience in data engineering, data architecture, or enterprise data management.
• More than 5 years of leadership experience overseeing technical teams and enterprise-scale projects.
• Proven track record in designing and implementing modern enterprise data platforms.
• Experience in integrating various enterprise systems and data sources within complex organizations.
• Strong grasp of Data architecture, Data engineering, Master data management, Information architecture, Data governance, and Data quality management.
• Experience in developing enterprise reporting, analytics, and data product capabilities.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to align technical investments with organizational goals.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
• Authorization to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship.
