This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Formulate and implement the enterprise architecture strategy, ensuring alignment with overall business goals and long-term vision.
• Provide guidance in defining and designing the architecture for systems, applications, data, AI, and technology infrastructure, focusing on reuse and coherence among tools.
• Work closely with business leaders and the executive team to ensure that technology solutions meet business requirements and objectives.
• Develop and document architectural standards, guidelines, best practices, and processes throughout the organization.
• Design and maintain architectural roadmaps that depict the future technological landscape necessary to fulfill business priorities.
• Identify and assess AI tools, emerging technologies, and modern data platforms for integration into internal workflows.
• Oversee and enhance Ceribell’s data architecture, including management of data warehouses and data pipelines that consolidate information across the organization.
• Build, mentor, and cultivate a high-performing enterprise architecture team.
• Select and manage partnerships with external vendors and third parties involved in delivering architectural solutions.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to comprehend their needs and translate concepts and prototypes into production-grade internal applications.
• Additional responsibilities as assigned by your Manager/Supervisor.
• Over 10 years of experience in IT architecture or software engineering, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership capacity.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field preferred; any suitable combination of education, experience, and training will be considered.
• In-depth knowledge of AI/ML, data platforms, cloud-native technologies, software engineering tools, and distributed system design to achieve measurable business impact.
• Proven experience in transforming technology landscapes with multiple SaaS, custom, and enterprise business applications emphasizing reuse, simplification, and cost efficiency.
• Strong understanding of data architecture, data quality, data governance, data privacy, and analytics/reporting, including pipeline design and systematic data quality practices.
• Outstanding leadership, strategic thinking, and communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Ability to grasp business objectives and processes and translate them into effective technology strategies.
• Experience in creating long-term technology roadmaps and financial plans for technology investments.
• Previous experience as a developer or architect in enterprise data systems such as Snowflake, Salesforce, or NetSuite is preferred.
