This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Establish the foundation. Operate and manage the shared AI infrastructure — including integrations, data boundaries, the approved-model registry, and a standardized AI stack featuring single sign-on and data-loss prevention that all functions can utilize.
• Implement the guardrails. Initiate and oversee the governance council, ensuring that security, privacy, approval, and quality monitoring are in place to allow teams to move quickly without incurring risks.
• Manage the roadmap. Collaborate with other departments to set AI Center of Excellence (COE) priorities.
• Demonstrate the impact. Establish standard metrics for cost, throughput, and quality, and communicate progress through the AI efficiency scorecard.
• Enhance capability. Develop centralized training libraries and enablement programs in conjunction with the HR team, creating a platform for teams to share successful practices for the benefit of the entire company.
• Direct the operating model. Lead a model with centralized expertise and decentralized execution, where the Center of Excellence oversees the system, and functions are responsible for outcomes.
• Build and expand the team. Recruit, mentor, and develop the Center of Excellence team, which includes forward-deployed AI engineers, administrators, and others.
• At least 12 years of experience in technology, data, or product roles, with a minimum of 5 years in leadership positions, demonstrating a history of delivering significant operational impact at scale — beyond just pilot projects.
• A minimum of 2 years of direct experience with AI or machine-learning systems, including hands-on familiarity with contemporary AI tools, agentic systems, and large language models.
• Profound knowledge of the infrastructure, data, and security requirements for production AI, encompassing model registries, integrations, single sign-on, and data-loss prevention.
• Strong governance instincts. Capable of establishing guardrails for security, privacy, and quality that enhance team efficiency rather than hinder it.
• Proven capability to influence stakeholders across the organization, from individual contributors to executives, and to foster coalitions within a decentralized operating framework.
• A commitment to clear metrics and transparent reporting. You evaluate what is important and provide honest updates regarding progress.
• Experience in developing enablement and training programs that transform workplace practices.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, able to simplify complex technical subjects for non-technical audiences.
• A bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, data, business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. An advanced degree is an advantage.
• Competitive compensation, with all full-time employees participating in our ownership program — ensuring everyone has a stake in our success.
• Flexible work culture. Remote, hybrid, and in-office collaboration spaces differ based on role, team, and location.
• Generous time off, including local holidays and our annual “Dim the Lights” period in late December, when teams are encouraged to take a step back and recharge according to departmental needs.
• Comprehensive wellness programs and mental health support.
• Learning and development resources, such as professional development tools and tuition reimbursement, to facilitate your growth.
• Access to the technology and tools necessary for optimal performance.
• Employee recognition program through Motivosity.
• A culture rooted in inclusivity, support, and meaningful connections.
