• Act as the main system administrator for Common App’s internal communication and knowledge management systems.
• Concentrate on the Atlassian Cloud platform and Google Workspace environment.
• Take ownership of the configuration, optimization, governance, and adoption of platforms across the enterprise.
• Serve as an advocate for digital workplace tools; provide training materials for staff.
• Ensure that technologies enhance productivity, collaboration, and operational excellence.

• Atlassian Cloud Administration: Extensive knowledge in configuring and managing Jira Software, Jira Service Management, Jira Assets, and Confluence in a cloud setting, including workflows, permission schemes, automation rules, custom fields, and project/space governance.
• Google Workspace Administration: Strong proficiency in overseeing Google Workspace at the organizational level, encompassing user and group management, organizational units, security configurations, DLP policies, Google Vault, mobile device management, and service-level access controls.
• Service Desk Design and ITSM: Proven capability to design and enhance IT service management solutions utilizing Jira Service Management, including request types, queues, SLA configurations, customer portals, and incident/change management workflows.
• Data Schema Management: Experience in maintaining structured data schemas, including Jira Assets object types, attributes, and relationships, as well as a grasp of relational data concepts and import/export configurations.
• Automation and Scripting: Familiarity with Jira Automation, Google Apps Script, or workflow automation tools (e.g., Zapier, n8n) to optimize repetitive administrative tasks and boost platform efficiency.
• Product Management Acumen: Capability to develop and oversee a product implementation roadmap for enterprise SaaS platforms, integrating user requests, vendor feature releases, and organizational priorities into a prioritized backlog of enhancements.
• Project Management: Demonstrated ability to plan, execute, and deliver technology projects independently, managing timelines, stakeholder expectations, and cross-functional dependencies from start to finish.
• Agile and Scrum Methodologies: Understanding of Agile frameworks and their application in Jira, including board configuration, sprint management, and backlog grooming to support engineering and cross-functional teams.
• Training and Enablement: Proven talent in creating and delivering end-user training materials, documentation, quick-reference guides, and presentations that simplify complex tools for non-technical audiences.
• JQL and Advanced Reporting: Expertise in Jira Query Language (JQL), Confluence Query Language (CQL), and dashboard/report creation to provide actionable insights and operational visibility to stakeholders.
• Written and Verbal Communication: Ability to clearly convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, produce well-organized documentation and governance policies, and present recommendations to leadership.
• Vendor and Marketplace Management: Experience in assessing, installing, configuring, and managing third-party apps and integrations from the Atlassian Marketplace and Google Workspace Marketplace, including cost-benefit analysis and security reviews.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 4–6 years of experience in system administration, SaaS platform management, or a related IT role focused on enterprise collaboration tools.
