This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Occasionally assume complete ownership of designated accounts with minimal supervision from the manager. This encompasses, but is not limited to: preparing client agendas, conducting calls, and leading on projections and timelines.
• Provide feedback on email and text content.
• Assist the manager as required on additional accounts.
• Oversee the email production process and ensure quality assurance for assigned accounts.
• Take charge of checklist and loading training across CRMs.
• Compose and refine email and text copy.
• Upload emails and texts as necessary.
• Examine email and text samples.
• Offer creative and strategic edits to team members on their submissions.
• Conduct quality checks on emails and texts for copy edits, mobile formatting, links and sourcing conventions, as well as targeting.
• Assist in training email and texting personnel on quality assurance and best practices for segmentation, drafting, and uploading across various platforms.
• Ensure all common areas for errors, such as missing punctuation, incorrect links/sourcing/names, or overlooked edits from managers, partners, or clients are addressed.
• Evaluate overall program performance and suggest strategies to meet and surpass client objectives; ensure that topics sent out for all clients are effective, relevant, and mission-driven.
• Guarantee that ActBlue landing pages and backend pages for company clients are optimized through A/B testing (copy, branding, and innovative strategies).
• Aid associates and strategists in leveraging significant news and rapid response opportunities.
• Help facilitate planning meetings—arriving with insights on email and text performance, content suggestions, and strategic advice that aids in achieving and exceeding client targets.
• Ensure readiness for upcoming events (including anniversaries and major occurrences such as debates, RNC/DNC conventions).
• A passion for supporting good causes, whether candidates or other initiatives.
• 3-6 years of work experience, including at least one campaign cycle in a dedicated email fundraising role.
• Experience in client-facing project management.
• Ability to manage multiple clients or workstreams simultaneously.
• Familiarity with P2P and/or broadcast texting platforms.
• Proficiency in at least one of the following email CRMs: NGP, Everyaction, Actionkit, Acoustic.
• Experience in an agency setting; involvement with or in non-profits or political/issue campaigns.
• Basic understanding of long-term lead performance tracking.
• Experience in building and executing project plans to meet fundraising and communication objectives.
• Capability to manage multiple projects within a deadline-driven context.
• Strong quantitative reasoning skills and the ability to utilize data for strategic decision-making.
