This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

• Assess current functioning of clients and families while explaining OhioGuidestone's mental health services and engaging families, youth, and relevant agencies.
• Conduct mental health diagnostic assessments and establish a diagnosis based on DSM-5 criteria.
• Maintain updated knowledge of DSM-5 diagnoses and recommend treatment options and levels of care.
• Perform associated administrative tasks, including reviewing and completing reports, records, and other documents within required timeframes; responding to emails, texts, and phone calls within 24 hours; attending various trainings and meetings; and communicating with other agencies, departments, and vendors regarding necessary paperwork, contract compliance, and consulting with county agencies and/or support services as needed.
• Gather documents, information, and signatures from parents and clients essential for completing assessments and evaluations.
• Highlight major treatment issues and anticipated outcomes, recommending case disposition to OhioGuidestone programs.
• Meet with clients virtually, at all OhioGuidestone locations, or travel to client homes for assessments.
• Maintain minimal productivity levels and ensure confidentiality in client or collateral interactions within Agency-defined standards.
• Provide at least three available times weekly for diagnostic evaluation appointments.
• Demonstrate positivity, adaptability, and a readiness to undertake new responsibilities as requested or required.

• Represent the Agency positively in all interactions with internal and external contacts.
• Understanding of human behavior and performance, including individual differences in ability, personality, and interests; learning and motivation; psychological research methods; and the assessment and treatment of behavioral and affective disorders.
• Knowledge of principles, methods, and procedures used for diagnosing, treating, and rehabilitating emotional and mental dysfunctions.
• Familiarity with group behavior and dynamics, societal trends and influences, human migrations, ethnicity, and cultures, including their histories and origins within and outside the Agency.
• Awareness of principles and processes for delivering customer and personal services.
• Proficiency in the structure and content of the English language, including word meanings, spelling, composition rules, and grammar.
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills for effective problem-solving and verbal interaction with staff, agency representatives, and families.
• Excellent time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail.

• A Master's degree and Ohio LSW or LPC are required, with a preference for LISW or LPCC.
• Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR), particularly Evolv, is preferred.
• Effective interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with individuals and/or groups effectively.
• Ability to routinely exercise discretion and sound professional judgment.
• Flexibility to work days, evenings, and/or weekends as needed to accommodate client requirements.
• Capability to maintain timely and relevant documentation as required.
• Proficient in computer skills, including Windows applications, Microsoft Office Suite, and electronic health records.
• Must be able to access work locations, offices, and homes as necessary, which may include navigating stairs.
• Possess a valid Ohio Driver’s License with a safe driving record and valid insurance.
• Successfully pass pre-employment screenings, including drug tests, background checks, and other required assessments, such as a physical examination and TB test.
