This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Train and guide both new and seasoned DRG auditors.
• Create clear and accessible training materials, guides, and online resources.
• Evaluate audits for precision, offer constructive feedback, and mentor coders.
• Identify trends, assess underlying issues, and enhance overall coding quality.
• Contribute to the development of smarter, more effective audit processes.
• Ensure our team remains informed about the latest regulations, tools, and best practices.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in DRG and/or APR DRG auditing and training.
• Possession of RHIT, RHIA, CCS, or CPC certifications (mandatory).
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• In-depth understanding of DRG audit procedures and compliance requirements.
• Proven experience in coaching others and creating training materials.
• Highly organized, detail-focused, and skilled at delivering impactful feedback.
• Up to 10% annual travel for team meetings and limited client onsite engagements.
