This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Develop and sustain CI/CD pipelines for application builds, automated testing, packaging, and deployment tasks.
• Create automation solutions for environment setup, operational workflows, release processes, and infrastructure support activities.
• Ensure secure delivery practices, including code scanning, dependency validation, secrets management, and policy enforcement tasks.
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to builds, deployments, pipelines, and environments across various applications and services.
• Work alongside development and QA teams to enhance release quality, deployment reliability, and software delivery timelines.
• Assist in managing cloud-based infrastructure and shared platform services in collaboration with engineers, architects, and operations teams.
• Keep documentation up to date for deployment pipelines, environment configurations, release procedures, and operational support processes.
• Engage in incident response efforts, root cause analysis, and continuous process improvement initiatives.
• Monitor system and pipeline performance and suggest enhancements for automation, tooling, and workflow efficiency.
• Facilitate change management, deployment coordination, and release readiness activities in both production and non-production environments.
• Contribute to various projects and initiatives as assigned, showcasing adaptability and a collaborative attitude.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field; equivalent experience may be accepted.
• At least 4 years of experience in DevOps, build and release engineering, systems administration, cloud operations, or similar technical fields.
• Proficient with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or comparable automation platforms.
• Knowledge of AWS services, Linux administration, scripting, and concepts related to infrastructure automation.
• Experience with containers, artifact repositories, and deployment tools.
• Familiarity with DevSecOps principles, secure software delivery practices, and security-oriented automation processes.
• Capability to troubleshoot technical issues across environments, deployment pipelines, and application services.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent organizational and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with development, QA, security, and operations teams in complex technical settings.
• Eligibility to obtain and maintain a Government clearance.
• Previous experience supporting federal government programs or secure cloud environments is preferred.
• Knowledge of healthcare integration platforms or regulated healthcare delivery environments is advantageous.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), and observability or monitoring tools is desirable.
• Relevant AWS, security, or DevOps certifications are a plus.
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, GitHub, or other Git-based collaboration and project management tools is preferred.
